Hren—Tomašković at LegalHack 2025: Supporting Innovation in Law & Technology

We proudly supported this year’s LegalHackathon, organized by Meritokrat at the University of Zagreb, which focused on the legal challenges of deepfake technology. Sandra Tomašković mentored participating teams, while Martin Hren served on the expert jury. We remain committed to fostering innovation and forward-thinking in the legal profession.

We are proud to have participated in this year’s LegalHackathon, organized by Meritokrat — a student association from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law. What began just a few years ago as an ambitious student initiative has grown into a premier event in the region, setting new standards for legal hackathons and becoming a launchpad for the next generation of legal innovators.

This year’s edition tackled one of the most pressing topics at the intersection of law and technology: deepfake technology, its legal implications, ethical challenges, and regulatory perspectives.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting innovation in the legal profession, members of our team were actively involved:

  • Sandra Tomašković served as a mentor, guiding student teams through their legal and strategic challenges.
  • Martin Hren, contributed as a member of the expert jury, evaluating the solutions alongside other respected professionals from academia and industry.

At Hren—Tomašković, we believe that innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking are key drivers of the legal profession’s future. LegalHack embodies these very principles, and we are pleased to support initiatives that empower and inspire young legal minds.

We look forward to the next edition. Until then, congratulations to all the teams, organizers, and mentors who made this event a success.
